Electrical Shift Engineer Location: Greenwich, London (Large Mixed-Use Estate) Salary: £48,000 Sector: Building Services Shift Pattern: 5 on / 3 off / 7 on / 2 off / 7 on / 4 off – Days only (repeat cycle) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join the maintenance team on a prestigious mixed-use estate in Greenwich. This site is managed by one of the UK’s leading property services providers, and due to continued growth, the shift team is now expanding. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Engineer with a strong background in commercial building services maintenance. You’ll be responsible for carrying out PPM, reactive, and breakdown works across all mechanical and electrical systems on site, working as part of a close-knit shift team to ensure a high standard of service delivery. Electrical Shift Engineer Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all electrical and mechanical systems * Complete and maintain logbooks and associated site documentation * Issue and manage permits for subcontractors when required * Diagnose faults and undertake repairs to a wide range of plant, including UPS systems, generators, pumps, motors, pressurisation units, and HVAC plant * Work collaboratively within a 4-person shift team and operate independently when required * Ensure compliance with site health & safety procedures and deliver a professional service at all times Electrical Shift Engineer Requirements * Time-served apprenticeship (preferred) * City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation / Building Services * Proven experience in a large commercial or mixed-use environment * Minimum 5 years’ experience within building services maintenance * Strong technical understanding of electrical and HVAC systems * Good communication skills and professional approach to client interaction Electrical Shift Engineer Benefits * £48,000 basic salary * 28 days annual leave * Ongoing training and career development opportunities * Perkbox employee benefits * Workplace pension
